Pastor Themba Mbotho and Pastor Thandiwe Mbotho are the spiritual leaders of AFM Potter’s House in Newlands West Durban, dedicated to preaching the Gospel, mentoring believers, and building a Christ-centered community. Their calling was shaped by a deep personal encounter with God, combined with a growing burden to serve people and guide them spiritually.

The church was established through faith, prayer, fasting and a clear vision to bring a Bible-based, Spirit-led church to the Newlands West community. Established on the 25th February 2007, humble beginnings from meeting with neighbours in their garage to a classroom and eventually the current location.

Newlands West Durban was chosen because of the strong need for a vibrant, community-focused church that serves families and youth in the area. The pastors are residents of Newlands.

The mission is to transform lives through the Gospel, build strong families, and raise spiritually grounded individuals.
